Neapolitan Dynamite

The stripes aren't bothering me as much anymore, after I read all your wonderful comments. I realized, I'm a moron.

Yesss.. this is pretty much a daily occurrence, but this was a realization of sorts. It went something like this:

stupid, the white is between the pink and the brown. YOU wanted one more stripe of white in there. IF there was ONE more stripe of white, it wouldn't be a true Neapolitan stripe!! DUH!! Get more sleep! Stop staying up till all hours of the night knitting, and eat better! Stop eating soo many GS cookies, chocolate, coffee and ice cream.

At that point I stopped listening to the voices in my head, and admired my finished sock

I present: Neapolitan Dynamite; sock 1

Ben and Jerry I want you to know, I looooooveee you!! I looooooveee your new flavor!! Neapolitan Dynamite Cherry Garcia and Chocolate Fudge Brownie side by side mmmmmmmmm!!!!  Freezer buddies, your my friends! Its perfect for all three meals!!

I started thinking, (smell the smoke?) how did Neapolitan ice cream get its name? Does it have anything to do with Neapolitan? Blingo came to my rescue, and came up with the answer bag. Neapolitan is a kind of ice cream packaging. The Ice cream package (box, tub, bar, cone, you get the idea!) is divided into three flavors. It doesn't have to be strawberry, chocolate and vanilla. It can be any other combination!! COOL! This super yummy dessert originated from spumoni, a Italian dessert. Neapolitan ice cream is virtually unknown in Italy today!!?!! Neapolitan is America's 5th favorite Ice cream flavor! Thank you ingenious marketer dudette (or dude)! Your my hero! Well... right after Julia at Knitterly things, this sock yarn is scrumptious! MMM!

Throwing it at ya: Corra loved reading her bithday wishes! Thanks everyone : )

Contest is still open till Friday night scoot down to this post to read more!

Nice socK! Eatting better, yes that sounds like a very good idea. Something a Mom would tell you to do. *grin*
Yes, get more sleep. Voices in your head, like myself, you get use to them. Try to get them to sing some of your favorite songs, that can be fun!
Note: Do not let the voices sing only one song over and over, experience, this will cause sleepless nights!
Knit on!
