Knitting? What knitting?

Knitting? Me knitting? Knitting? I do that a lot right? Lets just say its been a slow knit week. Here's proof:

I finished up the first Fancy Silk sock from Knitting Vintage socks on Friday night. Stalled on the second one till Sunday afternoon during a family picnic. Since Sunday afternoon, I've knit the cuff and one and a half repeats!! You see, Mike is home on break and Saturday I dragged him out to look for a new vanity for the girls room. Any idea what we bought? Here are the delivery guys setting up the girls room (the one in the middle is pretty cute!)

Don't they look happy? Its 90 degree's out, and they had to carry *lots* of stuff up our 20 steps to the kids room.

Any idea what we bought? Ready for it? Check out this face first

Yeah he looks thrilled,no? He said "Thank you Big guy, I rrreally like my new bed!!" A million times that day. What you wanna see? Check Bryce's out:

BUNK BEDS!! COOL!!!

Did we replace the girls vanity? Well.. not really... we bought them a desk though..... *L* We where planning on Allysa (who is 2) to sleep in the bottom bunk, well...she took her nap there on Tuesday, and absolutely refused to get back into the bed to sleep!! Oh, well! Mike said he doesn't like this thing where I pick stuff out and he pays for it! hehehehe

I've also been cleaning and reorganizing everything this week. More on that later, I have to go play Mommy.

P.S. Wasn't it nice of Blogspirit to tell us that they where going to be updating everything? Its great that they send out a little email to everyone just to let them know so its not a big surprise. Ya know? (please notice the extreme sarcasm! *gr*)

*added They also changed how you post to a community. *gr* you have to type in the name of the community in the tags. But it takes a looong time for it to pick up! *gr* and it has to be *just* right. *gr*

Hey those are nice beds and geez I don't know if they look too happy about them LOL! I love the socks; it's funny how we beat ourselves up for not knitting all the time - I must say the heat is not making me feel too much like knitting (actually I would say the humidity is worse). What yarn are you using; I love the look.

Fantastic beds!

... you pick it out and he pays for it - I don't see any flaw in that either?!

I agree. Blogspirit is making me nervous. And entries are showing up in all their HTML glory on blogspirit. Yuck.

Love the sock and cute bunkbeds!

those are some gorgeous socks! i love that colourway! and the kids are too cute with the bed excitement. i'm not judging--i acted aproximately the same way when i got my new mattress a year or so ago!

The socks are looking good. The colours are gorgeous. What a busy week you just had. I can imagine how much time you had to spend on cleaning up the mess after you have to move out the old beds and move in the new ones.

Big Kid Beds! How cool, and a great way to save space too! we can all use a little more of that!

Cool, I guess now we can get a bunk bed for here too! Daddy is really rubbing it in because I told him that we couldn't get bunk beds for the kids because I figured B would try to jump off the top!
Now I just have to convince him that a bed will fit in the basement.
BTW, nice sock

Cool beds!!! And love the socks, wish I had more time to knit. Thank you for all the kind comments as well. Everyone is doing well. The Pimp is back home finally and getting better. But what Mike needs to understand that you picking stuff out and he paying for it is nothing. Wait until the two girls are teenagers. Then the real fun begins. ha ha

I think the socks look nice and progress is up to you. You are the boss of the socks and you determine when they should be finished so don't let them guilt trip you.
