This morning while talking to Mom she asked me to post a pic of our Halloween haul for eye candy friday

for you Mom

mmmmm..... you wouldn't even believe how much candy the kids hauled in from different parties, at school and friends and from trick or treating. Wanna see?

All I can think is, holy crap that is a lot of candy!! Does any one else wanna scream when a friend wants to give your kid something "NOONOOO!!! no more crap, plllleeasseee!!!"? Part of me is a little bit happy that my kids elementary school has started a "Nutritional program" (they just "recommend" that you give healthy treats instead of sweets)

P.S. I'm still knitting. pictures tomorrow. Promise. It's been a hell of a week ; )

All the candy and food we will receive and consume over the next couple months really is so ridiculous. It seems fun but really it is so excessive.

That looks like a successful Halloween to me! I love Reese's peanut butter cups. Costco didn't have the awesome trick or treat mix this year (Reese's, Hershey bars, assorted other chocolates) so I'm missing them.

Those pumpkins look like they are throwing up all that candy :) Kinda like what would happen if you were to eat it all in one day.

I remember when my kids were coming back from their Halloween run, they ran on candies and chocolate for over a week; I was glad when there was nothing left.

it's been a hell of a month! sh*t!
anyhoo .... candy. yes, i did not trick nor treat, but some of the treats did show up at work, and damn if i didn't eat 4 mini bags of "bottle caps" as i wound many many hanks of cotton classic for a customer! damn!
i usually get my sugar-load via vino. so, a direct shot of candy, ... oh.my.god. TOO MUCH!
to make up for it, i had seared tuna over mixed greens for dinner, and 10 hail mary's. :)
