thats one....
magical knitting basket! Look it spit out a baby borelo
I finished the second baby borelo Wednesday night for (follow me here) Mike's cousin who just had a baby boy. I'm hoping to knit a hat to send a long with it. But to be honest. I'm kinda getting sick of knitting for others! I want something for me!
Stats:
Pattern: Baby Borelo from One Skein
Yarn: Inca Cotton 100% Organic Cotton Ecru
Needles: US 8 & 9 knit pick options
Time: Sunday Feb. 11 finished Wednesday Feb. 14
Notes: I have no idea how I managed to knit this so fast, it might have been because I didn't have to keep looking at the directions to find out what was coming next. This time I remembered to knit the ribbing on the size 9 and it lays down much better. One hank of the Inca cotton (325 yards) was enough to make 2 sweaters and has enough left over to make a baby hat. I can see why Cynthia of Stitch your art out loves this yarn so much!
I'm hoping if I leave the left over Inca cotton and the mission falls cotton together with the needles they will copulate and make a baby hat... think I have a chance?
I took these pictures of Kailey yesterday and I just have to share

I love the second bolero, I think it came out great. I've never used the Inca Cotton before, I love how it looks, I'm going to have to give it a try.
As a side note, it looks like you guys had a great Valentines Day. I hope Kailey is feeling better soon! I can't believe she is already a month old!!

The sweater is cute, but good luck with the hat. (I don't think it's going to work the way you want it to)
I LOVE the pics of our littlest girl. One month old! Wow time is just flying by. I have to talk someone into a road trip.

Already a month old?! Time sure does fly.
The Baby Bolero is adorable. If you figure out how to get the yarn to "copulate and make a baby hat", you'll have to share the secret!
Love the pictures of Kailey! She's so sweet. I hope that's a yawn in the last picture and not a scream :)
